At the simple level she was typical of the women who are attracted to powerful men, In the end she was probably in love with Hitler and would not leave him to flee to the West.

Apart from being the mistress of a drug fuelled, flatulent wannabe artist, she seems like any other woman that gets caught up in the power, wealth and status of nutters, just look at Trump. Or rather don’t, you might catch stupidity.

She was an early amateur film maker, much of the ‘private’ footage of the time is either her filming or someone else using her equipment.
