I'm so scared!

Somebody is going to release a video of me to all my e-mail contacts!!!!
I am a hacker who has access to your operating system.
I also have full access to your account: At the time of hacking your account(xxxxxxx@googlemai l.com) had this password:
You can say: this is my, but old password!
Or: I can change my password at any time!
Of course! You will be right,
but the fact is that when you change the password, my malicious code every time saved a new one!
I’ve been watching you for a few months now.
But the fact is that you were infected with malware through an adult site that you visited.
If you are not familiar with this, I will explain.
Trojan Virus gives me full access and control over a computer or other device.
This means that I can see everything on your screen, turn on the camera and microphone, but you do not know about it.
I also have access to all your contacts and all your correspondence from e-mail and messangers.
Why your antivirus did not detect my malware?
Answer: My malware uses the driver, I update its signatures every 4 hours so that your antivirus is silent.
I made a video showing how you satisfy yourself in the left half of the screen, and in the right half you see the video that you watched.
With one click of the mouse, I can send this video to all your emails and contacts on social networks. I can also post access to all your e-mail correspondence and messengers that you use.
If you want to prevent this, transfer the amount of $735 to my bitcoin address (if you do not know how to do this, write to Google: “Buy Bitcoin”).
My bitcoin address (BTC Wallet) is: 1BDePsBcraa7qgPZNcU2PK5QgbpBar RGZc
After receiving the payment, I will delete the video and you will never hear me again.
I give you 48 hours to pay.
I have a notice reading this letter, and the timer will work when you see this letter.
Filing a complaint somewhere does not make sense because this email cannot be tracked like my bitcoin address.
And please do not try to answer me (the sender’s address is automatically generated).
I do not make any mistakes!
If I find that you have shared this message with someone else, the video will be immediately distributed.
One major issue is 95% of my computing is Chrome Os (Linux basically) and Android. Fecking idiots.
Gave me a laugh though. ?

What a shame that you use Linux Planeman you’ve missed the chance to become an International Pornstar overnight…………….LOL
During the Covid-19 Epidemic I will be wearing a mask and goggles while posting so that if I become infected I won't spread it to you.May 11, 2019 at 7:14 pm #33269ParticipantLes.@oldlesForumite Points: 1,714
I had the same one about 2 weeks ago. I was just as scared as you, deleted it and moved on. I think I had it or one much like it a few months ago. Delete likewise.
For the last 10 or more years, Linux has managed to keep me safe, long may it continue.

Nolan you can put that threat in the same place that I put the two offers of $1,000’s offered to me over the last few weeks. And the offer of marriage from someone called ‘Dolloress’. All I had to do for Dolloress’ hand, was send $5,000 to her bank. Or someone’s bank. I don’t believe SWMBO would allow that, so I had to pass.

I get at least 1 a day of these to my work email address and about 1 a week to the work enquiries email address. I should also be a multi millionaire many times over with all the offers of money I keep getting.May 12, 2019 at 12:51 am #33280ParticipantTippon@tipponForumite Points: 3,749
Well, that explains why I keep getting those videos.
By the way, remind me to ask for bedroom decorating tips… ?May 12, 2019 at 1:44 pm #33286ParticipantRichard@sawbomanForumite Points: 6,517
I am only getting pratts call on the telephone; for some reason they do not get on very well with fractured Japanese greetings that might contain the odd bit of Arabic in all the wrong places.
Still, please keep the world from my system, you are doing the rest of the world a real service!May 12, 2019 at 1:51 pm #33287ParticipantWheels-Of-Fire@grahamdearsleyForumite Points: 5,576
All I ever get is confirmed flights with Arab airlines paid for with PayPal. Had 5 or 6 emails detailing my globe trotting exploits in the last few weeks ?May 12, 2019 at 2:48 pm #33288ParticipantRichard@sawbomanForumite Points: 6,517
Well WoF, no vaccinations, tedious airports, nasty Irritation services, etc. what is there not to like with your present deal?May 12, 2019 at 6:33 pm #33289ParticipantBob Williams@bullstuff2Forumite Points: 12,939
The ‘best’ scam we have been subject to, from about 4 or 5 years ago, was supposedly from my missus’ cousin in Thailand. Can’t recall it verbatim, but basically they were desperate for funds in Bangkok, having had all their money stolen from clothes on the beach whilst windsurfing.
We phoned them in South Lincs and had a good laugh for several reasons:
*They are older than us and windsurfing had been beyond them (and us!) for years.
*We had just returned a couple of days before the ‘desperate’ email, from a big celebration at their home.
*They are definitely not the people to leave anything on the beach!
Sadly, the cousin, a very good and very funny mate, passed away a little over two years ago, but we still have a chuckle over this with his widow.
