If it’s clear here (looking hopeful so far) I’ll certainly try.April 7, 2020 at 6:30 pm #42514ParticipantDave Rice@ricedgForumite Points: 8,306
Not one of mine, taken by a mate last night and put on FB. If it’s clear tonight (doubtful) it’s odds on he’ll take some more.April 7, 2020 at 8:42 pm #42515

A bit too much light pollution here in town, plus the apartment complex has lights everywhere. A downer after living with no street lights: I used to go out into the back garden last thing at night and pick out the constellations. But I would not go back, we are too comfortable here now. When the situation calms down (if I survive) I will drive to the old place and into some real Wild Woods, untouched ancient trees, solidly packed for centuries.
I wonder if someone/something Up There has missed my nightly visits?

Had a try about 10 minutes ago, something was messing with the auto focus though, possibly clouds or light pollution.
I’ll transfer the photos tomorrow and see if there’ anything worth keeping.
